Job Title: Ferry Pilot / Tailwheel Ferry Pilot

Requirements:

  • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating.
  • 250 hours minimum total time.
  • Tailwheel endorsement, 100 hours tailwheel minimum (Tailwheel Ferry Pilot).
  • Minimum of 10-12 days per month availability with a minimum block of 4 days.
  • Weekday and year-round availability
  • Cross country experience (cross country of 500+ miles).
  • High performance and Complex airplane endorsement (or willing to complete within 30 days).
  • 1 year commitment for ferrying.
  • Pilot will be based at the closest airport with commercial service that is a hub for a major airline.


Preferred:

  • 500 hours total time.
  • 100 hours of instrument time.
  • 250 hours of cross country experience.
  • Experience in over 10 different types of aircraft.
  • Extensive cross country experience.
  • Mechanical experience (owner assisted aircraft maintenance, A&P certificate).
  • CFI/CFII/MEI.
  • Aircraft owner.

Availability requirements:
We require that you be available between 10-12 days a month, with a minimum block of 4 days in a row.

Non-compete clause: While we expect our pilots to be active in the aviation world beyond the confines of FullThrottle Aviation, we also expect them to remain loyal and contribute to the long term sustainability and growth of the company. We expect our pilots to not provide services for directly competing companies, perform ferries for current or past clients ‘off book’, or perform private ferries for contacts made through working for FullThrottle.
